Klitschko Rahman December 13th

A replacement for IBF mandatory challenger Alexander Povetkin, who sustained an ankle injury recently, has been named. Hasim Rahman(45-6-2, 36KO's), a former 2-time heavyweight champion, will face WBO/IBF/IBO heavyweight champion Wladimir "Steelhammer" Klitschko(51-3, 45KO's) on December 13th, 2008.

I believe this makes a good replacement since Rahman is the highest ranking available opponent for the IBF, which is who named Alexander Povetkin their mandatory. Just below Rahman is Maskaev, which I also believed would have been a good opponent, but against his favor is his most rememberable recent loss against Sam Peter who just got annihilated by Wladimir's brother Vitali in a WBC heavyweight championship. So although Maskaev has beaten Rahaman twice, Rahman has a notable win over boxing great Lennox Lewis, and is ranked higher in the IBF..
