Former heavyweight champion "Merciless" Ray Mercer, now 47 years old, is still fighting. He fought on September 5th, in Karlstad, Sweden against the "Dutch Sonny Liston" Richel Hersisia and outpointed him via a majority decision of 59-55 from 2 Swedish judges and 57-57 from a Belgian judge.
Ray Mercer controlled most of the fight with his left jab, but what this means for Mercer is anyone's guess. He definitely looked faded in this fight.
