Wladimir Klitschko Receives WBO Super Champion Belt

On the night of Tuesday March 26th, which is Wladimir's birthday, Wladimir was treated to the WBO Super Champion Belt, which makes him one of a select few who have received this award in the history of the WBO organization. He received the belt from the children of the Sister Isolina Ferre Center in Puerto Rico that offers educational programs for the disenfranchised, and also participate of the WBO Kids Drug Free Program. The kids were in awe and very friendly towards the WBO & IBF heavyweight champion and even presented him with a huge birthday cake decorated with the WBO heavyweight belt. Klitschko went on to say that "This is the best birthday present and party ever that I have had. This is my first trip to Puerto Rico. I am from the Ukraine. I feel like I am in the Ukraine. These are all my people here."

Looks like Wladimir had a great time there, and from the sound of it he may visit this country again and/or use the boxing facilities in San Juan, Puerto Rico, where he met Oscar De La Hoya training for his next fight with Iván Calderón, for his future training.
