According to recent news if Vitali were to run for mayor of Kiev (Kyiv), Ukraine he would get lots of support. I'm not sure how he'll react to this since currently he and his brother Wladimir have an opportunity to follow through with their boxing dream of being the 1st brothers to hold all titles between themselves. Wladimir already has 2 of the main belts (WBO & IBF), and Vitali is suppposed to face the winner of the Sam Peter vs. Oleg Maskaev bout coming up this Saturday (March 8th, 2008) for the WBC belt, which would only leave 1 belt remaining if he won (WBA).
