Klitschko vs Gomez Full Fight Card

At Stuttgart, Germany (ESPN Classic live at 6 p.m. ET / taped replay on ESPN2 at 7 p.m. ET and check out Where To Watch Klitschko vs. Gomez for alternatives): Vitali Klitschko vs. Juan Carlos Gomez, 12 rounds, for Klitschko's WBC heavyweight title; Alexander Ustinov vs. Danny Batchelder, 8 rounds, heavyweights; Tony Thompson vs. Adnan Serin, 10 rounds, heavyweights; Chris Byrd vs. Mathias Sandow, 8 rounds, cruiserweights; Fatjon Murati vs. Steve Kroekel, 6 rounds, light heavyweights; Gabor Veto vs. Perparim Hajdini, 4 rounds, junior lightweights; Kira Schuerer vs. Mariel Faber, 4 rounds, female featherweights; Nathan James vs. Michael Matysik, 4 rounds, heavyweights

Interesting to note that Chris Byrd, who tried moving down to light heavyweight but found the weight drain being too significant to compete, will try his hand at cruiserweight in this undercard.

Chris Byrd fought both Wladimir and Vitali Klitschko. All fights were championship fights and Wladimir beat him twice and Vitali suffered a loss to him when he had to retire on his stool due to a shoulder injury despite being ahead on all judges scorecards.

He was used as a sparring partner for Vitali in preparations for his fight with Gomez along with Tony "The Tiger" Thompson who was the #1 ranked WBO contender last year until Vitali's brother Wladimir fought him and beat him. Tony Thompson will also be fighting on this card.

The bad news is that it appears that ESPN Classic will not be showing the under card for the Klitschko vs. Gomez fight. Possibly a live stream will allow you to show more. So check out Where To Watch Klitschko vs. Gomez for more information on alternatives.
