Undefeated American heavyweight Kevin Johnson(22-0-1, 9KO) says he's ready to step up to the plate and take on Wladmir Klitschko on June 20th now that David Haye has pulled out. Here's what he had to say:
“What time does the next flight to Germany leave? It’s as simple as picking up the phone and calling Star Boxing. I’m ready to show the entire world what boxing experts already know, the next heavyweight champion of the world is from the United States and his name is Kevin Johnson.”
Johnson is world ranked and had an impressive victory over US Olympic Team Captain Devin Vargas on this past May 15th.
