Minto Wants Fight With Valuev

Since Golota is now out of the picture, and there are rumors that a fight between former 4 time heavyweight champion Evander "The Real Deal" Holyfield and "The Beast From The East" Nicolai Valuev are in the works, WBA #15, WBO #11 Brian "The Beast" Minto's (32-2 21 KOs) manager Pat Nelson has strongly voiced his opinion that he would be a far better choice of opponents for Valuev to fight against for his voluntary title defense this December 20th in Zurich. He disagrees with Valuev's manager Boris Dimitrov that Evander is the best choice of opponents. Here's what Pat Nelson had to say in regards to Evander being the best choice of opponents:

"That's nonsense. There's a list of 15 ranked contenders by the WBA to choose from, and one, Minto is not only a free agent but is also well known in Germany and the U.S. Opportunities should be offered to boxers of the present generation, while they are in their primes. Networks, sanctioning bodies and promoters should take responsibility to ensure equal and fair opportunity. Mr. Dimitrov, there is a viable challenger, and his name is Brian Minto."
