Maskaev TKO's Boruff 1st Round!

Former WBC champion Oleg Maskaev (now 36-6, 27 KOs) made short work on Saturday in Mordovia with his 1st fight since losing his WBC title against Rich Boruff (now 17-3-1, 10 KOs). The fight was stopped at the 1:35 mark of the 1st round.

According to the WBC Vitali Klitschko, once he gets past his other #1 mandatory obligation with Juan Carlos Gomez on Saturday March 21st, has 90 days to fight Maskaev as another mandatory. Vitali does not seem to pleased with having to do this, and we will have to see how this one plays out....
