WBA heavyweight champion Nicolai Valuev is looking for an opponent for December 20th of this year. His manager Boris Dimitrov recently gave some information regarding possible opponents.
"Nikolai, I and Don King, as before, we oppose a Valuev-Holyfield fight. This is the initiative of Sauerland Event. They wish to make this fight because of money. I wish to find a worthy contender for the boxer. I can inform you that Nikolai will fight on December 20th this year in the Swiss city Zürich. As far as I know, there are restrictions on age for professional boxers in Switzerland. The fight will not be in Germany. Don King and I want a fight with Andrew Golota. Yes, on November 7th Golota will box against Ray Austin, but Don King considers that in one and a half months he can be ready to fight with Valuev. If Golota refuses, we will agree on a fight against Holyfield."
